I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I too had the pleasure of working with Bob. I was a young girl far away from home and he was a father, brother and dear friend with hospitality that knew no end. Sunday afternoons on the river with good food and friends will always be a treasured memory. The next beautiful sunset I see painted across the sky, I'll know God put him to work and he's happy.

I worked with Bob at USDA FmHA daily from Feb 1984 until he retired. He was like a big brother to me guiding me along the way. He had a way of calming any difficult situation and putting a little fun in each day. I am sorry for your loss and am feel privileged to have known him.

My thoughts and prayers to Bob's family. I had the opportunity to work with Bob during his career with FmHA and have many fond memories of the times when we could all enjoy a happy hour and the tricks that he enjoyed playing on others. May he rest in peace.

I regret that I learned of Bob's passing today, April 29 and I worked with Bob in the mid-late 1980's. He was a great friend and brought us lots of laughs.

Bob was a gentleman, an inspiration, a mentor, and a friend. I've lost yet another great sparing partner in the pursuit of the intellectual and the philosophical. No man is a saint, but Bob made you want to be a better person. And that's good enough.

Bob was a friend of our family since the early 80s when we all used to attend his "family picnics" down at the river. He was always coming up with some "invention" or "gismo" that fascinated the kids when they were growing up. A very generous and private man, once he got to know you and your family he would go above and beyond to entertain and please you and your family. We will all miss him and I am sure will be remembering him in many of our conversations. Rest in Peace fellow soldier- member of the "greatest generation"

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know your loved one personally, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one in death. It is my hope that you may find comfort from family and friends, and from "the God of all comfort" who can provide us with peace during such difficult times. - 2 Corinthians 1:3
