Mike and Monica, I was so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I did not hear until the day after the funeral. I would have been there if I had known. My heart goes out to you and I pray God will give you great comfort and peace in the days ahead. I will always remember him. He had a great heart for North East and it showed. Love and prayers to you all.

I just want you to know that I have so many fond memories of your father. We have so many but, I will never forget the one of Christmas with father and Butch Brown at your father's house. I will miss him dearly.

Besides prayer, I believe memories are the things that both honor loved ones when they pass, and help those of us left behind grieve. I have pictures in my mind of Big Jim laughing - just laughing loud and long, at who-knows-what; and of him working the pizza stand; and of him cooking. My most vivid memory is of our dads running through the shallow waves, then diving into the frigid June surf at O.C. Fireman's Convention. We were just kids, and that's just one of many conventions, but they were quite fearless and athletic then... and maybe a little crazy, too! Love, prayers, and memories to you all as you celebrate a wonderful life. RIP Jimmy

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know your loved one personally, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one in death. It is my hope that you may find comfort from family and friends, and from "the God of all comfort" who can provide us with peace during such difficult times. - 2 Corinthians 1:3
