Well Dennis it's February 2019 and I miss you even more now. I sit back and smile sometimes imagining you in heaven playing to a sold-out stadium. The crowd is screaming and hollering really screaming and hollering and there are lighters lit everywhere. 80000 people pack that stadium and every one of them knows your name. Not only your name they know your music deal and you've had like 50 number one hits. Dad's there Poppies there. Dale Reeves he's right beside you on stage. One day I'll be in the front row Dennis screaming and hollering and holding my lighter high. Until then brother keep the music going. Tell Dad I love him Granny and Pop to. Mom misses you a lot. She'll be there to see you. We don't want to let her go quite yet. But when we do I know you'll be there to greet her at the gates you and Dad. Drop a penny for me. See ya soon.

Dennis was a good friend of mine since working together at Chrysler. I really enjoyed the music we shared together, from travelling to see one of our favorite bands, Boston, to hearing him play in Murphy'z Law, to passing CDs back and forth. Although I haven't seen him since the Chrysler plant closed and he transferred. I thought of him often and thought of calling him.... now I wish I had. So sad to see such a great guy gone too soon. I will miss you my friend. My thoughts are with the family in your time of sorrow.
