Sharon Ann (Schmelzle) Preisch
Born in Buffalo, NY, on November 23, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Russell and the late Grace (Below) Schmelzle. Mrs. Preisch was the beloved wife of Roger L. Preisch of Elkton, MD.
She was an Office Assistant for Cecil County Public Schools since 1986. For the last 21 years, she worked in the main office at Elkton High School.
Sharon participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for the last 8 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially watching her children and grandchildren in their sporting events.
In addition to her loving husband, survivors include 3 sons: Rodney Preisch and his wife Jennifer of North East, MD, Tim Preisch and his wife Kate of Milton, PA, Michael Preisch and his wife Kristen of Star Valley, WY; 1 sister: Diane Jester and her husband Robert of Greenport, NY; and her 6 grandchildren: Casie and Alec of North East, MD, Ryan and Claire of Milton, PA, and Lacey and Cady of Star Valley, WY.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Karen Bunnell will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
