Our hearts hurt for the family of this very special lady. What a privilege it was to have known her, sing with her and most importantly, to pray with her. I did not know Mrs. Gray but your decision to publish her young photo with the obituary made me wish I had. As we all get older the vitality of the personality that still resides in us is often sabotaged by our aging bodies. This photo made me seek out the full obituary online and now I miss this woman I never knew. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Our condolences to the Gray family. Rev. Edward and Nellie Gray have been our dear friends for many years. We have worshiped and enjoyed fellowship together. We have been serious and had fun . We will miss Nellie's humor and loving ways. The church will miss their ministry.

My love, thoughts and prayers to the family for the loss of this dear lady. Nelly was a dear mother-in-law with an infectious laugh. She and Rev Gray were the best in-laws anyone could have. I will never forgot all the family time Phillip and I spent at many Sunday dinners.
