I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I too have lost family members and know this can be one of the most difficult things to go through. I just wanted to leave you with a scripture that has helped me and let you know your family will be in my prayers. The scripture is Acts 24:15 and it talks about a hope of a resurrection when we could see our loved ones again.

To the family, our deep sympathy to you for this tragic loss. Mike was a quiet boy as a youngster with ears opened to learn more about fishing and building gear. I remember getting "his" first boat and Dad's excitement for him as he was always ready about being on the water, fishing. Several member of the organization had great pleasure taking Mike to Campfire weekends and this has greatly touched many of us. May God be with you all throughout this ordeal....... blessing Web Edwards

It was such a shock when Karen called to tell me of Mike's passing. I've known Mike since he was 5 years old and it was a pleasure to see him grow into such a fine young man. He'll always be Mikey to me. He would always break into this big grin when I'd see him and call out MIKEY! Sometimes he would have his friends around him who would look confused, but Mikey always grinned and waved.

Karen and Mike, there is no consolation out there to wipe away the pain when you lose a child, it just isn't the natural order of things is it? Mike had a great group of friends, was a talented outdoorsman, and had a great work ethic; all of this due to the upbringing you gave him. He truly loved you guys and that is the legacy that will continue on. Love never goes away, it just changes over time and still provides comfort.
