I took many ceramic classes from Carol over the years. She was a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person. I only hope that I can do half the things she did in her life.

I have no words to express just how much Carol will be missed. I haven't seen her in a long time but I always carry her with me. She was a very important part of both my art and my life. She will always be loved and remembered.

I have no doubt that God will remember her and keep her memory safe. He will surely be glad to bring her back to life in a perfect world when suffering will be no more and we will all welcome back our loved ones that are asleep in death. (Revelation 21:4 & John 5:28, 29) May our loving Father bring your family the peace and comfort only He can provide.

I have known Carol as a fellow teacher and friend for nine years. She was, indeed, a most extraordinary individual, and I will miss her greatly. I know everyone who had the good fortune to know her was touched by her joy for life and her caring nature. Carol, Rest in Peace.

This beautiful lady lived her life with daily courage. Though Carol was not a complainer, she suffered physical pain daily, but she kept a beautiful temperment, had compassion for others, and chose to live her life spreading joy. She was a Professor of Art which was a beautiful outlet for her emotional needs, but even more important was how she lived her life as an ambassador of good cheer. I cried when I heard she died, but I believe with all my heart that her beautiful soul was cheerfully received back into our Creator's hands. Rest in peace, Carol, and now you can run and climb mountains free from pain. I am so happy you, Donna and I attended a wedding together and had a special night of fun. You were totally beautiful to all of us who knew you!

Several years ago I took Professor White's Museum Studies class. We traveled to Baltimore, Washington, Wilmington, and Philadelphia and saw works of antiquity, modern works, important pictures, and pieces by 'outsider' artists. It was one of the pleasures of my life. After graduation, I moved to the city and am fortunate to live across the street from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Whenever I walk through the galleries, I am reminded of something Prof. White pointed out or some different way of looking at a picture. In the Modern Gallery there is a particular Sol Lewitt installation on the vaulted ceiling. It's become a favorite of mine and I don't think I might ever have looked up had it not been for Carol White. Rest in peace, Prof. White. Your aesthetic contribution will always be remembered.

We have so many fond memories of Carol and all that she did for many students at Cecil College (including our daughter). Such a special person who gave so much. Sorry for this loss.

Carol was one of the greatest influences in my art work and in my life as an artist. She was my instructor first, my mentor second, and my friend third. She gave me a book once in which she wrote ravishingly lovely things to and about me. I cried then. I cried again today when I learned of her passing. One of the times we went out to dinner, we were justifying whether or not to have dessert, when Carol finally said, "I will never have this time with you again. I am having dessert and I am going to enjoy having it with you." I believe that Carol lived all of her life that way. I am devastated today, but I am grateful that she is now pain free. Thank you, my friend, for allowing me to be exactly that, your friend.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Carol White. I had several classes with her at Cecil College. One was about planning art projects for elementary school children & my favorite was pottery. I always hoped to be able to take more classes with her. Whenever I ran into her she always had a kind word, a smiling face & was genuinely concerned. Always fun, sweet, interesting & friendly. God Bless you all at this sad time with special memories. Gary Holmes.

Ms. White was such a kind-hearted woman that truly believed in her students. I was fortunate enough to have Ms. White for two ceramics courses at Cecil College and I also worked with her at Cecil. She always greeted me with a smile! She offered advice and lots of laughs to me on a daily basis. Whenever I was feeling discouraged about my ceramics projects, she would always find the best in it! She will truly be missed. My thoughts & prayers are with her family. Rest peacefully, Ms. White ♡
