Violet J. Sexton, 94 of Elkton, MD, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.
Born in Salisbury, MD, on August 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George W. and the late Nettie (Davis) Lemon.
Mrs. Sexton was a member of the Truth and Life Center, North East, MD.
She is survived by two sons: Alan L. Sexton and Jay G. Sexton both of Elkton, MD; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Avery Sexton and a son: Ronald Sexton.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
