Thomas Oliver Rowles

Thomas Oliver Rowles, 81 of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at home.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on September 1, 1941, he was the son of the late James S. and Flora M. Rowles.

Tom served his country proudly in the US Air Force.  He was a 1959 graduate of Elkton High School.

He was the owner of Tom Rowles Farrier Service and a member of the American Farrier Association.

Survivors include his wife: Patricia (Logan) Rowles; son: Scott Lewis of State College, PA; siblings:  James S. Rowles of Milton, DE, LaReda Tome of North East, MD; and three granddaughters: Madeline, Meghan and Sophia.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son: Alan Douglas Lewis; and his siblings: Harold Rowles and Jean Demond.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 3, 2023 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow in Rose Bank Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
