Richard Allen Russell

Richard Allen “Ricky” Russell, 69 of North East, MD, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at home.

A lifelong resident of Cecil County, he was born in Elkton, on June 1, 1954, the son of the late Richard “Dick” and Jean Russell.  He was the husband of the late Rhonda Lynn (Osborne) Russell.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for the railroad.  In his spare time Ricky, also affectionately known as “Racecar”, enjoyed doing mechanical work, especially on cars and working in his yard.

Survivors include his daughter: Sara Muehlberger (Darren) of Lawrenceville, GA; stepson: Ronald Magliacane; and his 5 grandsons: Joseph, Bradley, Jacob, Caspian and Thomas.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in Boulden’s Chapel Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
