Mildred Crouch Howell

Mildred Crouch Howell, 83, of North East, MD, passed away, Friday, February 17, 2006 in her home, North East, MD. Born in Elk Neck, MD, on March 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and the late Clementine Cox Crouch. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend who was loved by all. She was involved in the North East Little League, Upper Bay Museum and the North East Water Festival. Mildred was a member of Hart's United Methodist Church, Elk Neck, MD. Mrs. Howell also enjoyed country dancing and baking. Survived by her husband of 61 years: Eugene W. Howell, North East, MD four daughters: Cheryl Dixon and husband Emory of Elkton, MD Linda Hudson and husband Jerry of North East, MD Patsy Meck and husband Gary of Carthage, TX Barbara Monger of Rising Sun, MD two sons: Wayne Howell and wife Karla of North East, MD Glenn Howell and wife Kelly of North East, MD one sister: Frances McComsey of Oxford, PA Grandchildren:Michael Johnson, Beth Ayers, Eugene Hudson, Trisha Hudson, Todd Hudson, Kerri McCloud, Justin Howell, Katelyn Howell, Ian Monger, Lindsey Monger, Erin Howell, Greg Howell and Drew Howell 7Great-grandchildren Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Family and friends may call Monday, February 20, 2006 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev.
