Lynda (Morgan) Snellings

Lynda Snellings, 67 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Hospital of the University of Penn Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA, after a very courageous and inspiring battle, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Leonardtown, MD, on February 28, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Helen (Owens) Morgan.

Lynda proudly operated Tendercare Learning Center, North East, MD.

She enjoyed watching the birds, butterflies listening to music, kids and nature.  She was a sweet, kind, gentle person who was the best mother and “Sasha” she could be to her grandchild, Emerson Luke and many, many others she treated as her own.

Survivors include her companion: William Murray of Wilmington, DE; two daughters: Jennifer Ragan (Andrew) of Darlington, MD, Danielle Bukowski (Aaron) of Wilmington, DE; one grandson: Emerson Luke Bukowski of Wilmington, DE; her siblings: Mack Morgan (Lesley) of Punta Gorda, FL, Lee Morgan of Myrtle Beach, SC, David Anderson of Orlando, FL; Shirley Rubio of San Jose, CA, Dolly McKay of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Ellen Johnson of Angoon, AK and Joseph Anderson; the father of her children: Craig Snellings of Rising Sun, MD; and her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 pm.
