Kelly Ann Howell

Kelly Ann Howell, 49 of North East, MD, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Portsmouth, VA, on June 26, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Robert Merrill and the late Eileen Marie Ensman Gochneaur. Mrs. Howell married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Allen Howell on June 2, 1984. She worked at First National Bank of North East and volunteered with CCPS, Lions Club and North East Little League. Kelly was a loving wife and mother and wonderful sister. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children: Erin Marie Howell, Gregory Robert Howell and Drew Allen Howell all at home: her siblings: Robin Ciarpella and her husband Michael of Jarrettsville, MD, Karen Young and her husband C. Wayne of Rising Sun, MD, Linda Bray and her husband Larry and Robert Gochneaur and his wife Winnie all of Elkton, MD; her father-in-law, Eugene W. Howell of North East, MD; and In-Laws, Linda and Gerald Hudson and family, Cheryl and Emory Dixon and family all of Elkton, MD, Barbara Monger and family of Rising Sun, MD, Patsy and Gary Meck and family of Carthiage, TX and Karla Howell and family of Rising Sun, MD; a host of very special nieces and nephews, and her very special friends, Tracey and Sheri Patchell and family. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mildred C. Howell and a special brother-in-law, Wayne Howell. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Hal Owens will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Committal services will follow at the Howell Field, North East Little League. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the Greg Howell Fund, in care of the funeral home.
