James Roger Pirner, 32 of Newark, DE, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 28, 2020.
He was born in Washington, DC, on February 10, 1988. James grew up in Waldorf, MD. While in high school, he was a member of the Junior ROTC and the Civil Air Patrol. After graduation, he served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force.
James was employed by Allied Universal, working as a security guard. He was a member of American Legion Post 15, Elkton, MD, enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens, video games and working out. His faithful companion was his service dog, Lucky.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather: Patti and Ray Evans of Elkton, MD; one sister: Jennifer Luszcz (David) of Bear, DE and their children, his beloved nieces: Kelly and Reagan; his loving girlfriend: Julie Riley of Newark, DE; two stepbrothers: Christopher Evans and Richard Evans; and many other family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his father: Kelly James Pirner.
Funeral service, conducted by Pastor Mark Crispell will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD; with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
Interment with military honors will follow at 2:00 pm in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
