Eric James Spry, 42 of Bel Air, MD, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.
He was born in Elkton, MD, on July 24, 1970.
Eric served in the U.S. Navy during the Persian Gulf War.
He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter: Tabitha Jean Spry of Elkton, MD; his mother and stepfather: Ruby and William Woodring of Bel Air, MD; his father and step mother: Larry Spry and Patricia Bingnear-Spry of Elkton, MD; a sister: Nicole Herzberger of Charleston, SC; 3 stepbrothers: William H. Woodring, his wife Karen and their daughters, Caroline and Maggie of Middle River, MD, Joseph Bingnear, his wife Tina and their sons, Joseph, Jr., Nicholas and Aaron of Elkton, MD, and Patrick Bingnear-Krukosky of Elkton, MD. He is also survived by his niece: Isabella, daughter of his stepbrother: Brandon Bingnear, whom preceded him in death.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. Allen P. Dickerson will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment with full military honors will follow services in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
