Doris Elene (Epling) Doyle

Doris Elene Doyle, 85 of Elkton, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 24, 1937, in Lookout, KY, she lived in Cecil County for over 70 years.  Doris was a woman of deep faith.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rising Sun, MD.  A devoted wife, mother and friend, family always came first to her.  She was an avid reader, loved cooking, crafting and gardening.

Doris was preceded in death by her mother: Flonnie Stoetzer; father: John Epling; her beloved husband of 39 years: Willie E. Doyle; son: Curtis R. Doyle; and granddaughter: Danielle Doyle.

She is survived by her daughter and caregiver: Natasha Doyle; and 4 sons: Drew Doyle (Tracy), Amos S. Doyle, Nicholas J. Doyle (Susan) and Joseph S. Doyle; as well as 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Private interment will be in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Amedisys Foundation, 107 Chesapeake Blvd, Elkton, MD  21921.
