Annabelle Brown

Anna Belle Brown, 79 of Rising Sun, MD, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the Middle Tennessee Medical Center, Murfreesboro, TN. Born in Cecilton, MD, on March 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Catherine Dixon Burton. Mrs. Brown worked as a Bartender at Schaefer's Canal House and the Nottingham Inn before retiring. She enjoyed classic movies, traveling, watching baseball, and spending time with her daughters. Most recently Annabelle attended the Adult Day Care, class of 2011. Survivors include her children: David, Paul, Frank, Rodger and Anthony Anders, Rebecca Brinkley, Mark Brown, Michelle Flynn and Heather Brown; her siblings: Agnes Holmes, Frances Johnson and husband Eugene and Walter Burton and wife Dorothy; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and her caregiver and dear friend, Michele Johnson. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dale Anders and a great grandson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where there will be a visitation for family and friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow services in Zion Cemetery, Cecilton, MD. Memorials maybe made to the American Stroke Association c/o the funeral home
