Anna Lee (Hamm) Sanders

Anna Lee Sanders, a cherished member of our community, will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. Anna passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by her beloved family.

Born on March 8, 1935, in Lansing, NC, Anna was the daughter of the late Troy and Luna (Greer) Hamm. She was the devoted wife of the late Elton Sanders.

In her free time, Anna enjoyed shopping, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family. She is lovingly survived by her son Ricky Sanders (Lisa), and daughter Debra Poff (Mark), all of Elkton, MD. Anna also leaves behind a legacy of love with 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by two sons, Keith and Michael Sanders.

In honor of Anna's life, a public viewing will take place at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on March 22, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. After the service, she will be laid to rest in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
