Wilma Jean (Knotts) Lockard

Wilma Jean Lockard, 83 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at home.

Born in Clay, WV, on August 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mavis (Stephenson) Knotts.  She was the wife of the late Donald Stephen Lockard who passed January 27, 2024.

Before retirement, Wilma worked at FNBNE as a Branch Manager.

She enjoyed cooking and going to yard sales. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by her children: Dawn Renee Corbett of North East, MD, Todd S. Lockard (Stacy) of Elkton, MD, Perry M. Lockard (Irene) of Elkton, MD, and Shannon D. Lockard (Lorrinda) of Fair Hill, MD; her beloved grandchildren: Jeremy, Autumn, Austin, and Rowen; 6 great-grandchildren with another great-grandson on the way; and 3 siblings: Roberta Jackson of Elkton, MD, Richard Knotts (Donna) of WV, and Becky Minker (Mitch) of Elkton, MD.

In addition to her husband and parents, Wilma was also preceded in death by her granddaughter: Amber Reyes.

The family appreciates all the loving care from Donna Muncy, who is now family.
