William Reed Sheets, Jr.
He was born in West Jefferson, NC, on October 7, 1947.
Mr. Sheets served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, stationed in Germany.
Prior to his retirement, he worked 26 years at Chrysler as an Electrician.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and loved working in his yard.
Survivors include: his wife: Sandra Sheets; 3 children: Virginia Sheets of Churchville, MD, David Sheets of North East, MD and Patricia Handy and husband Brian also of North East; his mother: Julia Ruth (Osborne) Odenbaugh of Aberdeen, MD; a brother: Johnny Sheets of Aberdeen, MD; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Mr. Sheets was preceded in death by his father: William Reed Sheets, Sr.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 10:30 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 9:30 am.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
