William Edward Farmer
Born in Rowlandsville, MD, on April 24, 1928, he was the son of the late William H. and the late Elizabeth C. (Graybeal) Farmer. He retired from Chrysler Corp. after 30 years of service.
Mr. Farmer attended Grace Bible Chapel for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 ½ years: Gladys Cole Farmer; his loving children: Richard E. Farmer and wife Janet of Rising Sun, MD, Floyd A. Farmer and companion Theresa also of Rising Sun and Mildred J. Farmer of El Cajon, CA. He has 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and is also survived by 2 brothers: Delmar and R. Bruce Farmer.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Herbert Farmer and a sister: Inez I. Farmer-Moore.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Stephen Schappert will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 10AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Rose Bank Cemetery, Calvert, MD.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution will be welcomed to Calvert Manor Healthcare Nursing Scholarship Fund, in care of the funeral home.
