William Everett Ewing, Sr.

William Everett "Sonny" Ewing, Sr., 72 of North East, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Born in Klondyke, MD, on February 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Sherman and the late Anna Miller Ewing. He was a self employed Concrete Finisher. Survivors include his loving wife: Hilda Marie Ewing of North East, MD; his children: Bonnie Blevins and her husband Eddie of Elkton, MD; Billy Ewing and his wife Sandy, Vickie Blevins and her husband Dale, Sherman Ewing and his wife Lisa, Johnny Ewing, and Ricky Ewing all of North East, MD. His siblings: Irene Edwards of Rising Sun, MD, June Ford of Elkton, MD, Gilbert "Bud" Ewing of Elkton, MD, Donald "Mickey" Ewing of Rising Sun, MD and Virginia Ewing of Elkton, MD; also 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter: Nicole Winstead. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call starting at 10:00 AM. Rev. Kevin Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
