William W. Baker, 59 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, February 26, 2005, at home. Born in Elkton, MD, on February 5, 1946, he was a son of the late James William and the late Geraldine Warf Baker. He was a life long resident of Cecil County. Mr. Baker retired in 1998 from the Newark Parts Department of the Chrysler Corporation, after 29 years of service. He also held several offices of the U.A.W. Local 404, Newark, Delaware. His life service with the Singerly Volunteer Fire Company included serving as ambulance director. He served as Vice President and President of the Cecil County Democratic Club; he served on the Cecil County Democratic Central Committee for 4 years; he served on the Cecil County Jail Board; and he was an active member and supporter during John F. "Jack" Dewitt
