Willard Thomas Stewart

Willard Thomas "Buzz" Stewart of North East, MD Buzz passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, November 16, 2011 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Baltimore, MD, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Clarion, PA to the late Charles F. and Hazel Connor Stewart, he was 80 years old. Mr. Stewart was a kind and generous soul who would rather do something for you than anything else. His humility was evident to all, no matter how old you were. There was rarely a day that went by when there wasn't a small gathering of friends around Buzz at his kitchen table. And if you were an animal, he would make sure you had plenty of food and a good scratching if you were interested. Buzz was a veteran of the Korean War, followed by a long career as an Operating Engineer, Marine Division. His passions were his Jaguars and anything mechanical. If it was broken, he would fix it and make it almost new again. He is survived by his son Joseph Stewart, twins Ann Withers John and Matthew Stewart Pam; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Phyllis, son Charles "Skip" and daughter Sandy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will be private.
