Wesley Wade Grasher

Wesley Wade Grasher, 65, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Born on January 27, 1961, in Centralia, Illinois, Wesley was the son of Ronald Joseph Grasher and Zanetta Kaye (Troutt) Gibellino.

Wesley was a hardworking and talented man who took great pride in his work as a carpenter in the home construction industry. There was something special about being able to take a piece of wood and turn it into something meaningful with his own two hands. He was a true hands-on person who enjoyed building, creating, and fixing things. He found joy in the simple things in life, working with wood, listening to music, fishing, gardening, spending time outdoors, and caring for his beloved horses and animals.

But more than anything, Wesley loved his family. They were the center of his world and the greatest part of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who created a lifetime of memories with the people he loved. His family will forever carry those memories with them, the moments shared, the laughter, the conversations, the lessons learned, and all of the little things that made Wesley who he was.

Wesley is survived by his beloved wife, Linda R. (Heverin) Grasher of Elkton; his children, Kimberly Grasher, Mark Grasher, Alisha Whitten, Regina Winsted, and Ashley Williams; his mother, Zanetta Kaye Gibellino; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Barbara Grasher; and his sister, Rhonda Roy. He will also be lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins whom he was very close with, and many extended family members and dear friends who were blessed to know him.

To those who knew and loved Wesley, his memory will live on in so many ways. It will be found in the things he built with his hands, in the outdoors and animals he enjoyed, in the music he listened to, and most of all, in the hearts of the family he loved so dearly. The impact of a life is measured not only by the years lived, but by the love given and the memories left behind. Wesley leaves behind a lifetime of both.

His family will miss his presence more than words can express. They will hold close the love they shared with him and the many memories that will remain with them through the years. Though he is no longer beside them, the love of a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather never truly leaves, it becomes part of the hearts of those who loved him.

May Linda, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who loved Wesley find comfort in knowing that his life mattered, that he was deeply loved, and that he will forever remain a cherished part of their family.

May Wesley rest peacefully, and may his memory always be surrounded by the love of the family he cherished so dearly.
