Walter F. Keen, Sr.

Walter F. Keen, Sr., 67 of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 17, 1942, he was the son of the late William and the late Mary Hoak Keen. He was a Supervisor and Machinist at Alanx Corporation, Newark, DE. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Elkton, MD and enjoyed boating, fishing, crabs, hunting and playing cards. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife: Helen Keen of Elkton, MD; his children: Donna Walters of Newtown, PA, Robert Montgomery of Bensalem, PA, Walter F. Keen, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Sydney Rice of Ventor, NJ and Bill Keen of Elkton, MD; his siblings: Earl Boyer of Seattle, WA, William Keen of Perkasie, PA, Donna Sloan of Philadelphia, PA; and ten grandchildren: Doug Walters, Bobby Montgomery, Jr., Brian Montgomery, Cory Walters, Blaise Keen, Emmett Frisbey, Mandy Walters, Brandon Keen and Tyler Keen. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Wesley United Methodist Church, 41 Justice Way, Elkton, MD where visitation for family and friends will begin at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Dave Rash and Rev. Isabelle Gordon will officiate. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
