Walter C. Given, Jr. (Buddy)

My precious dad, Buddy Given went to be with Jesus on September 14, 2015.  Dad’s date of birth was February 24, 1930 and he was born in Louisa, VA.  He was 85. He was the son of the late Walter C. Given, Sr. and the late Margarite (McNabb) Given.

He is dearly missed.

He is survived by his dedicated and loving former wife, Audrey Given; his dear son: Richard Borden and wife Lyn; and daughter Deborah Borden; a wonderful and devoted nephew: Robby Given; a caring brother: Jackie Given; dear sister: Anna Mae Heath and daughters: Susie and Sally; and his lovely niece: Nancy Ward.

My dad loved gardening, antique shows and was a “Best Friend’ to many people.  He was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Elkton, MD.

Dad…we love you so much.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at Union United Methodist Church,440 Union Church Road, Elkton, MD with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 am until service time.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
