Walter H. Blizzard, Jr., 70 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, Newark, DE.
He was born on October 31, 1943, in Newark, Delaware. Walter was the son of the late Walter Henry Blizzard, Sr. and the late Goldie Adeline (Johnson) Blizzard.
Walter was a grounds keeper and maintenance worker for Del Tech Community College. He enjoyed collecting DVDs.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Rose L. Blizzard; his children: Johnann Meza (Israel) of Elkton, MD; Peachie Fuller (Cari) of Lampasas, TX; Dennis Blizzard (Jeannie) of Elkton, MD; his siblings: Peachie Sellers of North East, MD, Betty Bingham of VA, Butch Blizzard of North East, MD, Duke Blizzard of Florida; and his 7 grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held Monday, July 21st, 2014 at Mercy Missionary Baptist Church, 2403 Theodore Rd, North East, MD at 12:00 Noon. The Viewing will be held one hour before the Memorial Service.
