Walter N. Arrants, Iii

Walter Noble Arrants III, 51 of North East, MD, died suddenly Thursday, December 2, 2010 at home. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, he was born in Elkton, MD, on February 19, 1959. He was a truck driver for Todd Colette and formerly worked for Delaware Express. He enjoyed antique tractors, riding his Harley, his dogs and crabbing. He is survived by his loving wife Arlene Arrants and two daughters: Kimi Deitrich and husband Aaron, Michelle Shaffer and husband Brad all of North East, MD; his mother: Nancy Arrants of Elkton, MD; siblings: Stephen Arrants and wife Lorie of North East, MD and Stephanie Szczerba and husband Pete of Bear, DE; his grandchildren: Dannielle and Anthony Buttrey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter N. Arrants, Jr. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Mary Browne will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Walter to Kennedy Krieger Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
