Wallace H. Beal

Wallace H. Beal, 84 of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD. Born in Lewiston, ME, on October 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Frank E. and the late Marguerite R. Sawyer Beal. He was the husband of the late Flossie Ruth Beal who died on May 13, 2009. He was a Private First Class in the Army in B Battery 911th Field Artillery Battalion. He retired after 30 years of service for General Motors Corp. Survivors include his son: Gary E. Beal of Elkton, MD; his granddaughters whom he raised: Tammy D. Goheen of Ocean City, MD and Deborah L. Estep of Elkton, MD; his sisters: Frances Myers and Edith Allen both of Elkton, MD; and his great grandchildren: John Miller, Jessica, Casey, and Abigail Boyle. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Beal Allen; and his siblings: William, Everett, Nelson, Norman, Ervin Beal and Rosemond Allen. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. Allan P. Dickerson will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
