Virginia Ann Ewing

Virginia Ann Ewing, 74 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in the Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Frostburg, MD, on May 21, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Anna (Miller) Ewing.

Virginia was a graduate of NEHS class of 1966. To further her education, she also studied at Cecil Community College for several years. She retired after 44 years as a Lab Tech for Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Virginia worked part time for Dr. Capurro in Elkton, MD, Harford Memorial Hospital and her job for fun The Wharf in North East, MD. She never forgot a birthdate and she loved playing the lottery and going to the horse races with her family.

She is survived by her brother: Gilbert Ewing of Elkton, MD; and 16 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her siblings: Donald Ewing, William E. (Sonny) Ewing, Sr., Irene (Ewing) Edwards and June E. (Ewing) Ford; and 4 nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday July 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
