Virginia M. (Jones) Crawford

Virginia M. Crawford, 86 of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Laurelwood Nursing Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in North East, MD, on April 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Albert B. and Hanna May (Rice) Jones.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Barney Crawford (Barbara) of Elkton, MD, Susan V. Rinehart of North East, MD, Barbara Hammonds (Bubby) of North East, MD, Floyd Hines (Kathy) of Charlestown, MD, Jimmy Hines (Becky) of North East, MD, Lisa Crawford of North East, MD; a sister: Shirley McKinney Sexton; her companion: Leonard Boutchyard; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Charles Boyd; granddaughter: Amy Jo Osborne; and 3 brothers: Paul and Bobby Jones and Arthur R. McKinney, Jr.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations made payable to VFW Post 6027, and sent to the funeral home.
