Violet M. (Dill) Mckinney
Born in Newark, DE, on November 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Sudler F. and the late Mary (George) Dill. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. McKinney who died in 2000.
Violet was a lifetime member of the Ladies Aux. of VFW Post 6027, North East, MD.
She is survived by a son: Joseph McKinney of Charlestown, MD; a sister: Eleanor C. Harden of Elkton, MD; a brother: Sudler Dill of Rehoboth Beach, DE; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: Charles Howard McKinney; a daughter: Joyce Letts; and a sister: Maryann Blakeley.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
