Vesta Evelyn Kincaid

Vesta Evelyn Kincaid, 86 of Rising Sun, MD, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in the Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre De Grace, MD. Born in Colora, MD, on March 10, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles Herman and the late Louisa Jourdan Kincaid. She owned and operated Vesta's Beauty Shop in Rising Sun, MD for 40 years. Vesta was a member of Jane's United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir for 50 years. She was also a member of the Cecil County Historical Society. She blessed the Cecil County Choral Society with her beautiful voice as well. Vesta was also a member of the Bridge Group. Survived by her sisters Margaret L. Kincaid, Rising Sun, MD Melva E. Simmers, Rising Sun, MD F. Leone Monscevitz, North East, MD brother: Roger G. Kincaid, Churchville, MD nieces and nephews: Melanie Schreiber, Rising Sun, MD Lori Geckle, Rising Sun, MD Vesta Brown, Santa Clarita, CA C. Michael Kincaid, Rising Sun, MD Kenneth Simmers, North East, MD Jerald Simmers, Rising Sun, MD Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 25, 2005 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where friends may call from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Rev. James Jones, Jane's United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be held in the West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
