Verona Josephine Potter

Verona Josephine Potter, 76 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, October 9, 2009 in the Laurelwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, Elkton, MD. Born in Deep Gap, NC, on December 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Ida Miller. She was a Sewing Machine Operator, employed by Nannette's before her retirement. Josephine was a member of the New Life Faith Center, who enjoyed reading her bible, all church activities, working with children in the church, listening to Blue Grass Music and hymns. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and spending time with her family. Mrs. Potter is survived by her daughter: Jane Campbell and her husband Jerry of Elkton, MD. Sister: Betty Norris of Lenior, NC. Brother: Arlon Miller of Statesville, NC., Granddaughter, Jamie Campbell and Grandson, Jeffrey Campbell, both of Elkton, MD; nephew, Tim Price and his wife Deanna;and nieces, Dwayna and Miranda Price. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Larry Johnson, will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD., where family and friends may call 1 hour before the service on Tuesday and Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
