Vanessa J Rose

Vanessa Rose, 61 of North East, MD, died Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton, MD, on October 10, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Gregson,Jr. Dorothy Mae (Cresswell) Gregson.

She was a self-employed Daycare operator who enjoyed watching daytime TV, caring for family and friends. In her younger years, she worked in nursing.

Vanessa is survived by her daughter, Christina Perez Rose (Esau) of North East, MD, and son, Javier Morfin of North East, MD., as well as her life partner, Jose Morfin of North East, MD., and one brother: Robert G. Gregson of North East, MD. Granddaughters, Alexiya and Mariana; Nephews, Robert T. Gregson, George Gregson, Robert G. Gregson, Jr.; Niece, Laura Gregson, Dorothy Greene, Megan Dillon; Great Nieces, Leah, Braelyn, and Raylyn; Great Nephew, David.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD., with funeral services commencing at 11:00 am.·

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
