Tina Marie Shelby

March 21, 1964 – June 11, 2026

Tina Marie Shelby, 62, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Born in Elkton, Maryland, on March 21, 1964, Tina was the daughter of Ima Jean (Potter) Maxwell of Perryville, Maryland, and the late James E. Maxwell, Sr. She was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joys in life were her family, her grandchildren, and the music that filled her heart.

Tina found happiness in life's simple pleasures and treasured every moment spent with those she loved. She especially enjoyed listening to and singing along with her favorite artists, including Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and loving nature touched the lives of many, creating countless cherished memories for those fortunate enough to know her.

Tina is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Astle (Tim) of Elkton, Maryland; her son, Randall C. Astle (Rachel) of Rising Sun, Maryland; and her beloved grandchildren, Timothy Reed, Jr., Riley Reed, Makayla Astle, and Jayce Astle. She is also survived by her brother, James E. Maxwell, Jr. of Perryville, Maryland; her sister, Tanja J. Maxwell of Newark, Delaware; her faithful companion, Puppy; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her father, Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wayne Shelby, Sr., and her brother, Dennis C. Maxwell, Sr.

Although our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Tina's love lives on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all who were blessed to have known her. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort, strength, and love.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Brush Arbor Gospel Ministries, 768 Blue Ball Road, Elkton, Maryland. There will be a visitation one hour before.

Interment will be private.
