Timothy Fred "Tim" Walton, 71, of North East, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Born on January 30, 1955, in West Virginia, Tim was the son of the late Alvin Walton and Sharon (Starks) Reid.

Tim dedicated much of his career to the concrete industry, retiring as a manager with Heritage Concrete. He was respected for his strong work ethic, leadership, and willingness to help others throughout his career.

A proud American, Tim honorably served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1976. During his service, he earned the National Defense Service Medal. His time in the Navy reflected his commitment to serving his country, a source of pride that remained with him throughout his life.

Tim was a member of the VFW Post 6027 Auxiliary and found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed working, riding his golf cart through the neighborhood, traveling to West Virginia, and collecting decoys. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, easy smile, quiet strength, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Candace (Baker) Walton of North East, Maryland; his children, Kass Walton of Elkton, Maryland, and Keith Dalgarn (Susan) of North East, Maryland; his siblings, Sharon Reid (Joseph) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Erwin Reid (Allison) of Atlanta, Georgia; his beloved grandchildren, Madison and Adam; his step-grandchildren, Domenick, Harrison, and Cecily; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, followed by a funeral service with Navy honors at 6:00 p.m. at Cecil County Memorial Post 6027 (VFW), 815 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD 21901.
