Timothy Lee McGill, 63 of North East, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2016 with his family by his side.

He was born in Champaign, IL, on August 30, 1952. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.

Timothy attended the Florida Institute of Technology.  He worked as a contractor.

He was a member of North East United Methodist Church, North East, MD.  Tim had a variety of interests including boating, kayaking, woodworking, diving, and music. He traveled extensively during his lifetime and enjoyed taking trips with his family, especially to the beach.

He was a loving, caring person and will be missed dearly.

Survivors include his loving wife: Suzanne “Sue” (Carlon) McGill; one daughter: London P. McGill (Richie Huffstutler) of Port Deposit, MD and one son: T. Keaton McGill of North East, MD; his father: Raymond Edward McGill of Winston, GA; five brothers: Kelly McGill (Dale) of Villa Rica, GA, Terry McGill (Pam) of Hallandale, FL, Edward McGill (Priscilla) of Douglasville, GA, Glenn McGill of Douglasville, GA and Kevin McGill (Christy) of Douglasville, GA.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Grace Josephine (Barrette) McGill and his brother: Daniel McGill

Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 pm until service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for Pancreatic Cancer Research, to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD 21901.
