Timmy Lewis Compton

Timmy Lewis Compton, 48 of Abingdon, MD, died Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 12, 1975, he was the son of Pamela (Cornell) Compton of Bear, DE and the late Jimmy Lewis Compton.

He was a Commercial Diver, employed by Black Dog Diving, Portsmouth NH. He had previously worked for Dryden Diving. Timmy enjoyed cooking, crabs, music, movies, video games and driving his Subaru WRX STI.

Timmy is survived by his partner, Lana Zinnie of Abingdon, MD and his twin daughters Jade and Tori Compton of Charlestown, MD. He is also survived by siblings, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service, conducted by Frank McFadden, will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Family and friends may call from 6:00 pm until service time.
