Thomas G. Urban

Thomas G. Urban of Charlestown, MD, died on October 27th, at Union Hospital in Elkton, following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 59 years old. Born in Baltimore, Tom is the son of the late Charles and Bernardette Urban.

Tom is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Paulette; devoted son, Jeremy and girlfriend, Krissy Ritchie. In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by his sister, Linda Edwards of Bel Air; his brother Bob and wife Cindy of Forest Hill; his sister, Jane and husband Pete of Florida; and his sister, Carol and husband Kevin of Texas. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 4 nephews.

Tom graduated from Bel Air High School and retired from Cecil County Water and Wastewater Division. An avid waterman, "Crabber Tom" enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, and restoring vintage vehicles with his son, Jeremy and spending time at Tuckahoe Beach in Bethany, with his wife, Paulette.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:15 am at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church., 315 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
