Thomas Melton Perry, Jr.

Thomas “Buddy” Melton Perry, Jr., 66 of North East, MD, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.

Born in Salisbury, NC, on May 14, 1955, he was the son of the late Thomas M. Perry and Rosey Emeline (McMillan) Church.

Prior to his retirement, he was a chemical operator for Central Chemical, Elkton, MD.

Thomas was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East, MD.  He enjoyed genealogy research, fishing, guitar, bluegrass music, and video games.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years: Ruby E. (Harvey) Perry; children: Thomas Perry III (Josie), Jason Perry (Carrie-Fiancé), Melissa Lannen (Wayne) all of Elkton, MD, Ryan Perry and Jacob Perry (Alex-Fiancé) both of North East, MD; his siblings: John Perry of Grassflat, PA, Lena Hall of Lincoln University, PA, David Perry of Elkton, MD and Maynard Church of Mercer, PA; four grandchildren (Trinity, Keegan, Kaitlin, Isaac) and one great grandson (Sayir).

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
