Thomas Henry Mentrak, Jr.

Thomas Henry Mentrak, Jr, 58 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at home.

Born in Syracuse, NY, on October 7, 1965, he was the son of the late Thomas H. Mentrak and Louise (Randall) Mentrak.

He worked as a small engine mechanic for Tri-State Battery.

Tom was a member of the John B. Wockenfuss Strat-O-Matic Baseball League. He was a member of the Choral Union, Men’s Chorus for the University of DE and had the privilege to sing at Carnegie Hall. Thomas was also a 4th degree black belt in karate and was an instructor for Rising Sun Martial Arts until 2020.

Also, an avid bowler, Tom had a 300 game and an 800 series in an American Bowling Congress sanctioned league. His love of the game lead to meeting the love of his life, Virginia.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm.
