Thomas Albert Lockard, 57 of Nottingham, PA, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 6, 2012.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on November 3, 1954, he was the son of the late Albert “Ab” F. and the late Laura E. (Craig) Lockard.
Mr. Lockard was the Deputy Chief for the Customer Management Branch of the Network Enterprise Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, MD.
He was a past Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America, Troop 144 in Perryville, MD. He enjoyed computers, playing games and a good sale. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, A.J.
Survivors include his wife: Jane V. Lockard of Port Deposit, MD; his partner, Anthony E. Festa of Nottingham, PA; 3 children: Frances A. Pabon of Blackwood, NJ, Keturah B. Lockard of Port Deposit, MD and Joshua P. Lockard of Perryville, MD; his grandson, Brian Albert James “A.J.” Lockard; and 2 brothers: Nyle A. Everett of Waynesboro, PA and Roger D. Everett of St. Augustine, FL.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE.
Father James Nash will officiate.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
