Thomas Alan Johnson

Thomas Alan Johnson, 59 of North East, MD, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at home. A lifelong resident of North East, he was born on August 30, 1951. He was the son of the late Frances Rebecca Johnson. He worked for WalMart in Elkton, MD and Schmidt Baking Co. in New Castle, DE as a stocker for both companies. Thomas enjoyed flea markets and auctions. He was a lifetime caretaker of his mother for years. Survivors include his aunt: Mary Whitehead of North East, MD; his cousins: John Hamilton, IV of North East, MD, Sharon Smith of Rising Sun, MD, Linda Powers of North East, MD and Jayne Hamilton of North East, MD; and his close friend, Helen Shirling of North East, MD. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
