Theresa M. Kellum

Theresa M. Kellum, 79 of Charlestown, MD, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Van Buren, ME, on February 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and the late Ida Michaud Lebel. She was the wife of the late James R. Kellum. Theresa was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 6027, North East, MD, where she served as Treasurer for 20 years. She volunteered at the VA Hospital and enjoyed bingo. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Brenda H. Grant of Georgetown, DE, Dana R. Kellum of Charlestown, MD, Devin M. Kellum of Belcamp, MD and Daron J. Kellum of Rising Sun, MD; her siblings: Raymond, Pete, Kit, Bobbi and Dee Lebel, Marlene Reed, Jeannine Daigle, Della Bentz and Pat Barth; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: James Lebel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow services in Charlestown Cemetery, Charlestown, MD. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to: Seasons Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
