Theodore Murray Layman

Theodore M. Layman, 75, of Rising Sun, MD, died Friday, June 10, 2005, at home. Born in Elkton, MD on October 29, 1929, the son of the late Murray Franklin Layman and Augusta V. Keneley Layman. Mr. Layman was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, MD. Mr. Layman was a self-employed farmer. He enjoyed traveling. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 until 1953. In addition to his parents, Mr. Layman was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Webb Layman, who died on March 16, 2003; and his son, Dale L. Layman, who died on December 15, 1994. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Lynn Corron, Rising Sun, MD; and grandson, Todd Corron, Rising Sun, MD. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Rev. Richard Moore of the Rising Sun Church of the Nazarene, Rising Sun, MD, will officiate. Interment will follow serviced in Rose Bank Cemetery, Rising Sun MD, with full military honors by American Legion Mason-Dixon Post 194, Rising Sun, MD.
