Theodore Carter

Theodore "Teddy" Carter, 18, of North East, MD, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 in North East, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 7, 1987, he was the son of Sara Kirby of North East, MD. Theodore was a student of the Cecil County School of Technology; Fire Science class. He loved life and his family. He enjoyed raising animals, farming, hunting and fishing, and was very involved in community service and supportive of our veterans. He wanted to be a U.S. Marine. He was a proud member of the Joseph L. Davis Post 47 in Havre de Grace, MD, the Sons of the American Legion, Havre de Grace, MD, the Post Honor Guard, and the North East Volunteer Fire Company and the Susquehanna Hose Caompany #5, Havre de Grace, MD. In addition to his mother, survivors include his brothers, Earl D. Kirby and Jacob M. Kirby, both of North East, MD, and Larry A. Barrow of Arizona; grandfathers, Charles E. Sines of North East, MD and John L. Carter of PA; uncle, Randy L. Sweat of NC; aunts, Gwendolyn M. Sines of Earleville, MD and Ida F. Sines of Elkton, MD. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, the late, Shelley S. Sines. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the American Legion Joseph L. Davis Post 47 in Havre de Grace, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
