Thelma Megaline Mowbray, age 79, formerly of North East, MD, died Sunday, October 3, 2004 in the Christiana Hospital, Christiana, DE.Born in Kentucky on December 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Daisy Abrams Dean. She was the wife of the late Jesse Lee Mowbray who died in 1999.She enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid Scrabble player.She retired from RMR as an Assembly Line Worker. She is survived by one daughter, Doris Hackendorn of Smyrna, DE and one son, Jesse L Mowbray II of Ponchatoula, LA.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Friends may call from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at the funeral home.The Rev. Jeffrey England of Bible Fellowship Baptist Church, Rising Sun, MD will officiate.
