Terrance Eugene Mortus

Terrance Eugene Mortus, 59 of Conowingo, MD, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Port Clinton, OH, on August 19, 1952, he was the son of Norman Mortus of Ruskin, FL and the late Betty Chaffin Mortus. Mr. Mortus was the beloved husband of Janet Mortus. Terrance worked as a Water Treatment Plant Operator. He was a Member of VFW Post 8185 Men's Auxiliary, Port Deposit, MD. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. In addition to his loving wife and father, survivors include: his children: Timothy Mortus of Aberdeen, MD, Matthew Mortus of Hemet, CA, John Paul Aughe of Rising Sun, MD and Sara Mortus of Conowingo, MD; three brothers: Charles "Rigor" Mortus of Aberdeen, MD, Fred Mortus of Marietta, GA, David Mortus of Apollo Beach, FL; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother: Danny Lee Mortus. All services will be private.
